The sports betting side of things at Winner has been around since 2013. This may make you think that they are a young, up and coming bookmaker and to some extent you would be right, but to actually use the site and spend time within the site, they feel much more than this.

The sports betting section has seen massive development over the last 12 months or so and in that time they obviously seen that in order to keep up, they need to keep adding. The range of sports and markets that are now on offer are a direct response to this growth, of which you will read about more later in this review.

As well as sports there’s casino, poker and bingo, all operated through Playtech. The casino also offers slots from other providers such as NetEnt.

Sport Welcome Bonus

At Winner you are going to be able to get your hands on a massive welcome bonus worth up to £200. The bonus is a 100% match of your opening deposit and this will trigger on all deposits of £30 or more. It’s worth noting that this offer is actually one of the biggest that you can receive in the industry!

You need to wager through your deposit 8 times before being able to withdraw any bonus money and all bets must be made at odds 2.00 to qualify for these terms. You will get 14 days to clear the full balance before any remaining bonus that has not been cleared will be removed from your account.

Odds and Markets

For a new bookmaker to make a splash in probably the most competitive sector of the gambling industry requires some skill and a lot of luck. Finding a niche within it is again almost impossible, but Winner have simply decided to by-pass the trend of thinking of something new and simply heading down the route of doing things better.

The pricing structure is a direct result of this and it’s here where they have managed to really get a firm hold on the market. What we will say is that they odds on offer are very erratic in that they can be amazing for one market and then terrible for another. We moved several markets through an odds comparison site and saw some fairly massive shifts in odds with some actually being best priced and other being no better than middle of the road.

The market coverage is one that’s seen improvement though and again, its tough to really fault what they have on offer. Its hard to not compare them to the likes of Betfair and BetVictor, two of the best in the business when it comes to market coverage, and whilst they aren’t quite on their terms yet, they can more than hold their won with brads that are much more established than themselves.

Live Betting

The live betting section is probably the first sign that Winner maybe aren’t quite up to scratch in all sections just yet. The range of games that were on offer was nothing better than OK and the pricing we found to be very erratic again. For standard bets this isn’t too much of an issue, but due tot the speed of live betting you need to know that you are getting at worst a fair price and this simply wasn’t the case from the bets that we tested.

Having said all that, it did include an excellent match centre to show you live updates of that’s happening in the game. The site included a good look essential data as well, such as red cards, yellow cards, corners, attacks and substitutions in football.

Other Features

The site really lacks some additional features in our opinion. Aside from the live scores section and the statistics section, it felt a bit basic, which is a fair reflection on their design as well. But, that’s not always a bad thing for a bookmaker – the lack of features that is – and we actually quite enjoyed the fact that you simply got in, found your bet, placed your bet and then got on with your day. There is no fancy cash out slider to keep you preoccupied and we didn’t feel like you had to check your bets every 15 seconds to see if the scores had updated.

Others will argue against and we realise that this will be very personal to each bettor, but for us, the sites almost lack of ability to offer anything outside of actually betting, was a positive!

Betting Offers

You get a really good range of betting offers to sink your teeth into at Winner. The best include a £200 mobile betting bonus (similar to that of the welcome offer above), Football acca club where you can get free bets for consecutive accumulator bets placed, fallers insurance if your rider falls at several different races each day, tennis accumulator bonus and the VIP Club, where you can earn some nice prizes for being a loyal punter at Winner.

Casino Games at Winner

The casino, much like the sportsbook, has seen it’s fair share of criticism in the past, and rightly so! But, it’s changed a lot since the early days of the dark, dated theme and now a new, brighter (orange) look has helped it move into the 21st century and out from the doldrums of the casino industry.

Software and Games

There aren’t a massive range of games to play on at Winner Casino, but they do offer a decent collection of quality games. They are powered by that of PlayTech and NetEnt, which are two of the most reputable casino game developers in the industry at the minute.

The sites standout features had to be the inclusion of branded casino games such as Thor, Fantastic Four, Rocky, The Incredible Hulk and Iron Man 2, to name just a few. Outside of slots you get a good range of table games to choose from, including live casino and their latest Macau section, offering up an Asian twist on things.

Mobile Casino Games

Due to Winners partnerships with both PlayTech and Netent it means they are able to host a hue range of their catalogue on their mobile casino app as well. You don’t get all the games, but it has to be one oft the biggest percentages we have seen!

Casino Offers

The casino offers come thick and fast at Winner, with plenty of bonuses to choose from. What you need to be aware of is that the site includes a number of welcome packages that are an alternative to the one that we mentioned above. These include a £1,000 high roller, £500 mid roller, 25% first deposit bonus, £1,200 first month bonus pack along with several free sign up no deposit options that give you free money and free spins.
