BoyleSports have been about since 1989 and are based out of Dundalk, Ireland. In fact, the company are so large that they are now Ireland’s biggest independent online bookmaker, which is a pretty amazing feat given the number of bookmakers that have been developed on their shores.
The success of BoyleSports will likely come as little surprise to many and likely to you, once you start poking around the site. They are pretty much the complete package offering both an extensive range of sports, casino, poker and bingo variants catering for all users of the gambling industry.
Sports Betting at BoyleSports
Odds and Markets
The bookmakers pricing structure has seen massive improvement over the last few years and it really feels like BoyleSports have turned a corner with this. It was here where the company cam under some relatively heavy fire and was one of the reasons as to why we felt they weren’t performing as well as they could be. It’s a different story today though and from the odds that we tested, they were right up there with the best and at worst they were competitive.
Just like their pricing, market coverage has increased a lot as well, but this has been increase across the industry, so BoyleSports were almost forced to follow suit just to keep up. Horse racing plays a massive role on site, but unlike other bookmakers, we really felt that coverage throughout the bookmaker was pretty even. Notable mentions have to come in for the likes of tennis, American football, Greyhound racing, GAA Hurling and GAA Football, each of which offer up a great range of markets to bet on.
The live betting is an absolute hive of activity and a section of the site that we thought was one of their best. First thing that strikes you is the layout of the liv betting section and just how many games they have running. But, not only that, you were able to quickly see latest scores and latest odds for these games before actually clicking on a more in-depth look. It’s here where you can highlight certain games and even add them to your favourites list to makes things more condensed.
As you jump into the matches it does feel a little more subdued and with it you can see the latest score and the current betting markets. The lack of a match centre to track live events and see extended statistics was a big loss in our opinion.
BoyleSports is one of those bookmakers that feel more like a sports-hub than anything else. It feels as though you could land on the site to hear all the latest sports news and results from around the world and this is partly down to the inclusion of their Betting News section. Within it they not only have their own crack team of journalist and reporters creating content one everything from transfer rumours to betting strategies, but on top of that they have reputable sources from within the world of sport such as Stan Collymore, offering you insight that is pretty much invaluable to the Average Joe punter.
The statistics section on site is also wroth a mention and even though it’s not something that is new to the industry or even BoyleSports for that matter, it’s a section which has again allowed them to really add some depth to the bookmaker. You can grab info from dozens of sports and also competitions that you likely didn’t even know existed, highlighting just how in-depth it is.
Finally we just want to touch on their latest addition, which is cash out! It’s likely that most of you will have used or be familiar with cash out betting in some form and at Boyle it’s not really any different. One thing that did want to mention is that it states that it’s not available on all sports or markets, although doesn’t really go into much detail about which. We’d guess there will be some trial and error here to see what it does accept and what it doesn’t. Failing that, contact customer support prior to placing your bet if you think you will need it.
Casino Games at BoyleSports
The casino at Boylesports is a really nice addition to the sportsbook. It’s not as big as some and they cant really compete with the likes of the standalone casinos, but as a package, we feel that it works really well.
Software and Games
Boylesports casino is fairly unique in that it uses just one software provider in the form of PlayTech. Whilst it could be argued that this does limit the range of games that they can offer up, it does allow them to offer up a download option for both Mac and Windows users, a feature that is quickly dying off in today’s market but one that we feel still has a place.
The games on offer, as we said, are limited, but this doesn’t mean they are dull. They include a number of branded games such as Ace Ventura, Batman, Britain’s Got Talent and Thor. On top of that they have table games such as blackjack, roulette and carps, along with classic slots, jackpot games and video poker.
The poker room is powered by iPoker, which just so happens to be one of the biggest poker networks in the industry at the minute. They offer a huge range of games to play on site and particular stand out features include a great place to satellite in to larger tournaments, awesome VIP system and plenty of money added games held throughout the week.
The bingo section at BoyleSports has seen a huge improvement over the last couple of years and we feel that’s now one of their strongest suits. The site comes crammed with games, ranging from 90 ball, 80 ball, 5 ball, cash cubes, joker jackpot bingo, slots, casino games and scratchcards.
BoyleSports will accept a huge range of payment methods on site that you can use. These include Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Delta, Skrill, PayPal, Neteller, Paysafecard, Trustly and Giro Pay.
As you would expect, there are no shortage of ways to get in touch with Boylesports, but they way that they recommend for the quickest response is that of their Twitter account funnily enough, which can be accessed via the Twitter handle @boylecare.
