Premier League

With just a handful of games left, the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to guarantee their places in the top four as quickly as possible. This weekend, Liverpool host relegation-threatened Stoke City at Anfield. Then on Monday night, Watford visit Wembley Stadium to play Tottenham. The standout match comes from Old Trafford where old rivals Manchester United and Arsenal lock horns.

Liverpool v Stoke City – 28th April

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will have one eye on their UEFA Champions League semi-final with Roma, but the Reds will still want to do a professional job on Paul Lambert’s Stoke this Saturday.

Liverpool are the only team in the Premier League with an unbeaten home record, which they will be looking to protect against the Potters on Saturday. Stoke, meanwhile, have picked up just one win under Lambert.

This is a huge fixture for Stoke, who are four points adrift of safety. However, we can see the Merseyside outfit sealing a comfortable win on home soil. Back Liverpool to win to nil at 6/5 with Coral.

Swansea City v Chelsea – 28th April

On Saturday evening, Carlos Carvalhal’s Swansea City entertain Antonio Conte’s Chelsea at the Liberty Stadium in South Wales. Things are starting to look up again for the Blues, who booked their place in the Emirates FA Cup final last weekend.

As for the Swans, their 5-0 hammering at the Etihad Stadium last Sunday has got them looking over their shoulder at the chasing pack. The Swans sit just four points above Southampton and Stoke.

Chelsea have won their last three and should be good enough to leave the Liberty with all three points. Take a punt on BetVictor’s 31/20 for Conte’s men to be winning at half time and full time this Saturday.

West Ham United v Manchester City – 29th April

Champions Manchester City will be on the lookout for another win when Pep Guardiola takes his City side to the London Stadium to play David Moyes’ West Ham United this Sunday.

West Ham still have a little bit of work to do but they seem pretty safe for another season in the Premier League. Man City, meanwhile, will be looking to end their dominant campaign with as many points as possible.

After running riot against Swansea last weekend, we can see Man City strolling to another victory this Sunday. Check out Betfair’s 5/2 for the away side to win with a -2 goal handicap in London.

Manchester United v Arsenal – 29th April

Arsenal Wenger takes his Arsenal team to Old Trafford for the final time this Sunday as Jose Mourinho’s Man United welcome the Gunners. United and Arsenal have produced some memorable meetings over the years, but who will come out on top in Manchester in this one?

The Red Devils look nailed on to finish runners-up in the Premier League this season, and they will be eyeing up all three points from this home clash against their old rivals. Arsenal have had another mediocre season in the Premier League, although they are still battling away in the UEFA Europa League.

Only champions Man City and Arsenal have taken more home points than Man United this season. Meanwhile, the Gunners have been abysmal on the road lately. We fancy United to nick this one 1-0 (7/1 at Betfred).

Tottenham Hotspur v Watford – 30th April

The Premier League action continues through to Monday as Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham and Javier Gracia’s Watford go head-to-head at Wembley Stadium. Spurs are the strong favourites in this one.

After being knocked out of the FA Cup at the semi-final stage last weekend, Tottenham can turn their full attention to claiming a Champions League place in the Premier League.

Watford will be a top-flight team next season, but we can see them being stuffed in the national stadium on Monday. Tottenham to win both halves is nicely priced at 23/20 (Ladbrokes).

Championship

Fulham face a must-win game when they host already relegated Sunderland at Craven Cottage on Friday night. The race for the play-offs is also hotting up with several clubs still in with a shout. Middlesbrough will confirm their spot in the top six with a win over Millwall, who were beaten for the first time since New Year’s Day last Friday night.

Fulham v Sunderland – 27th April

Slavisa Jokanovic’s Fulham will be hoping to keep themselves in the race for automatic promotion with a win against Sunderland at Craven Cottage this Friday night.

The Cottagers have been in tremendous form, with their last Championship defeat coming away at Sunderland all the way back in December. As for Chris Coleman’s Black Cats, they were relegated to EFL League One after a 2-1 home loss to Burton Albion last Saturday.

With Fulham having everything to play for, this should be an easy victory for the Whites. Check out BetVictor’s strong odds of 8/1 for Jokanovic’s side to win 3-0 on Friday.

Middlesbrough v Millwall – 28th April

On Saturday evening, Tony Pulis’s Middlesbrough entertain Neil Harris’s Millwall in a huge play-off six-pointer at the Riverside Stadium.

Middlesbrough have won three of their last four, putting them in the driving seat to claim one of the remaining two play-off spots. Millwall, along with a whole host of other clubs, are still in with a chance of making the top six.

The Lions’ incredible 17-game unbeaten run came to end at the hands of Fulham last Friday, and this will be another stern test for the Londoners. Being the hosts, Boro should nick this, with Betfair’s 21/20 a good price for the home win.
